During labor and birth I safeguard you and your baby's wellbeing as you take the time you need to birth your baby in your way.

In early labor we stay in close contact. By active labor (or earlier if desired) I arrive at your home and remain with you through the duration of your birth and the first few hours postpartum.  A second midwife arrives nearer to the time your baby will be born.

Labor & Birth:

• Continuous labor and birth support through the immediate postpartum time

• Skillful and respectful monitoring of both you and your baby's well-being

• A second Midwife to assist

• Gentle and thorough newborn assessment and examination with some newborn medical procedures available

• Surgical repair of tears if needed

• Comprehensive Breastfeeding support

• Clean up

• Paperwork necessary to register your baby

• Lots of love and respect!

Postpartum

• 6 weeks of personalized postpartum care, with at least 3 visits within the first week

• Comprehensive breastfeeding support

• Newborn care recommendations

• Traditional postpartum ritual support
